About
Originally from Independence, Kansas, Aubrey has been stage managing for over 10 years. Her work has moved her all over the country: from Kansas to New York, Connecticut, Iowa, Indiana, and Oregon. Aubrey has an MFA in Stage Management from the University of Iowa, as well as a BA in Theatre with a minor in Communication from Emporia State University.
Aubrey’s stage management focus areas are musical theatre and new works. During her time at UIOWA, she served as the PSM of the Iowa New Play Festival, facilitating communication between 4 fully realized world premiers, 7 new play readings, and 1 workshop.
Aubrey has a dance background with management experience professionally and educationally. She has managed children’s theatrical productions with up to 90 actors. She loves working with children; in partnership with Melissa L F Turner, Aubrey created the University of Iowa’s audition and rehearsal policy for children under the age of 18.
